AmeriCool Booth at the 2014 AHR Expo

Despite a storm that dropped 10 inches of snow on New York City and created a state of emergency in parts of New York, the severe weather couldn't stop tens of thousands of determined attendees and exhibitors from filling the aisles and booths at the 2014 AHR Expo held at the Javits Convention Center in NYC, January 21 through 23.

According to the show's organizer, International Exposition Company, over 61,000 attendees (43,000 visitors and 18,000 exhibitors) registered for the 2014 AHR Expo.

The AmeriCool booth was buzzing as many attendees checked out the companies new 1.5 ton heat pump and 7.5 ton air cooled unit. These two units are new for 2014 and will begin shipping in April. Another unit garnering quite a bit of attention was the WMC-2500 unit, which can be mounted in a ceiling or server rack, stacked 3 units tall, or outfitted with casters. With four unique installation options, this unit provides the ultimate level of flexibility in data center cooling. This will in turn eliminate mission critical data center's overheating and servers being lost. Many attendees commented about the exceptional versatility of the WMC-2500.
